Amir Shurrab has spent his career turning ambitious ideas into products people use. An award-winning entrepreneur and AI engineer, he first made his mark by rethinking how people learn and earn online - and he hasn't stopped building since.
In 2013 the UK Government named him a Chevening Scholar, a “leader of tomorrow”. He went on to earn an MSc in Digital Entrepreneurship from the University of Birmingham with Distinction, graduating top of his school. Along the way he founded a string of EdTech ventures - Smartella, LearnCity and OneAcademy - delivering learning platforms and consultancy to organisations including Jaguar Land Rover and the United Nations.
In 2018 the UK Home Office, in partnership with Tech Nation, recognised him as World-Leading Exceptional Talent - a distinction reserved for a small fraction of applicants worldwide. Today he channels that same builder's instinct into London Gulf Nexus, joining UK excellence with Gulf ambition to make AI something organisations deliver, not just discuss.
